Tonight, more than 30,000 Victorians won’t have a home to sleep in. Rising rents, a shortage of affordable housing and family violence are pushing more people into homelessness. The good news: solutions exist. That’s where Launch Housing comes in.
ABOUT LAUNCH HOUSING
For over sixty years, Launch Housing has helped people impacted by homelessness across Greater Melbourne find a safe place to call home, and keep it. As an independent community organisation, Launch works across the entire housing continuum, from prevention and crisis response to long-term community housing.
Across more than 50 programs and with a team of 450 staff, Launch supports over 14,000 people each year, guided by the belief that when housing comes first, everything else becomes possible.
HOW CAN YOU HELP
Register, race and raise funds to support people impacted by homelessness in Melbourne.
Registering gets your team to the start line. Fundraising is how your team supports Launch Housing. Once you’ve signed up for your race of choice at the Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon, set up your individual or team’s fundraising page and share it with colleagues, clients, friends and family. Housing changes lives, and your fundraising makes that possible.
FUNDRAISE FOR LAUNCH HOUSING
Every dollar you raise funds programs that provide housing, health, education and employment support, helping people break the cycle of homelessness for good.
- $500 can cover a rental bond so a young person can move into a home of their own.
- $200 can provide a safe night’s accommodation for a family escaping family violence.
- $100 can cover school supplies so a child can keep learning.
- $50 can help pay a utility bill, so a mum can keep the lights on and food on the table.
